Tool 10

Here are some of the apps that I have read about that seem interesting.
1. ABA Flash Cards - Alphabet By Kindergarten.com
2. ABC Phonics Animals Free Lite -Talking & Spelling Alphabet Flashcards Kids Games By Brain Counts

3. Baby Flash Cards By Dream CortexView

4. abc PocketPhonics Lite: letter sounds & writing + first words By Apps in My Pocket Ltd
5. Toddler Counting Lite - Preschool number adventure By Toddler Tools

The ipad and itouch is an excellent way for the students to develop their fine motor skills and learn at the same time. I would use the apps as a way for students to "play" a game. They would think it's a game but they actually will be learning from that game. The apps can further help them understand what we are learning in the classroom.

  1. I definitely agree that the itouch "games" are a great way to engage students in learning what we introduce them to in our lessons. Once you try the "Lite" version you may find some that you want to purchase, since this may allow further study and play. Have fun!
